TAILORED RIDING LESSONS

Here at Syd Thew Horsemanship, we are not your typical riding school, we are focused on educating both horses and riders, in all aspects of horsemanship. You won't just turn up and hop on a school horse, you will be educated in groundwork, handling, saddling, tacking up, as well as all aspects of riding.

You will learn why horses do what they do, how to think like a horse, and how to develop the best possible relationship with your horse, to give you years of enjoyment. We love for you to bring your own horse along for lessons, we also cater for those who want to learn but don't have their own horse.

There is so much more to horses than just riding, we want you to experience and enjoy all aspects of the horse.

You will gain knowledge and understanding, which will lead to lifelong enjoyment and new skills, creating a better partnership with your equine friends.

All good riders benefit from having a coach, and some of our students are exceptional riders at high levels, and benefit from trained eyes on the ground. Helpful for all disciplines and riding levels.

Specialising in rebuilding confidence in nervous riders, in a safe environment. Concentrating on introducing the basics of good horsemanship and riding practices.

Horse Training

For those who need help with educating their horse, need a sweaty saddle pad, or miles put on them, regaining respect or just to work on their body/mind, these training sessions are perfect for your needs, to create happy horses.

Live in positions available, subject to availability. We keep our live in numbers small, to ensure every horse gets the time and attention it needs to reach its training goals.
